    Hours: 21hrs per week
    Salary: From £26,500.00 per year

    Fife International Forum works to engage with and support members of international communities to deal with the many challenges faced in health, social and economic environments, empowering and enabling families to establish themselves successfully in Scotland. It has an exciting opportunity for an Area Coordinator to join the team.

    If you are personable, reliable, organised, and creative, and have good attention to detail, a passion for delivering high-quality support, and good general IT and administration skills, it needs you to help them facilitate and deliver its Pre-Academy Employability Programme that will develop the knowledge, skills, wellbeing, and social integration of service users.

    The initial responsibilities of this varied role will include:

    • Preparing and facilitating the Pre-Academy Employability Skills Programme on a cyclical basis throughout the year, in collaboration with Skills Development Scotland (SDS) and English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and other partners;
    • Creating and maintaining work plans and programme schedules to deliver the programme of activities; and
    • Coordinating locations, logistics, facilities, safety and security, correspondence, materials and equipment, staffing and volunteer resources, ensuring all details are considered and executed effectively.

    Going forward, the job will continue to evolve to include the delivery of Community Activities and the coordination and development of Volunteers.
