Dementia Awareness in the Workplace
Almost everyone knows someone with a diagnosis or has an experience of dementia and this includes in every walk of life, every sector and every industry - from family and friends to customers and workers. There are over 90000 people currently living with dementia in Scotland and this number is only set to rise.
This info-byte will encourage Fife’s workforce to consider the impacts of Dementia on workers and realise that the workplace should be a supportive environment for those directly or indirectly affected by Dementia.
