FVA lunchtime learning sessions are aimed at raising the skills and capacities of local service providers interested in improving or enhancing their provision in Fife.

Many service  providers find themselves supporting individuals who either have experience of substance use or alcohol related problems.

At this session Helen Hutton, Counselling Service Co-ordinator at Fife Alcohol Support Service will help us understand:

    • Introduction to Fife Alcohol Support Service
    • FASS Counselling – What Happens in Counselling?
    • How to Identify possible problems in an individual – Physical and Behavioural
    • Responding to the issue
    • Onward referring and signposting for clients
