  • Consultation event for people with learning disabilities to capture views on being a victim of crime

    Created: 14/07/2022
    News/Events Category: Community Events

    When: 09:30 - 13:00, Tuesday 26 July 2022
Where: This event is being organised by The Scottish Government

It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

The Scottish Government is hosting a consultation event for people with learning disabilities as part of the consultation on improving the experiences of justice for victims of crime.  This is an opportunity for people to give feedback about their experiences, and their ideas for making things better.  It will probably be more meaningful for people who have gone through the process of reporting a crime, and even more so if they have gone on to give evidence at trial.  But that doesn't preclude others - it would be interesting to hear people's reasons for not reporting, for instance.

This is an online event and will be held on Teams.  The date is Tuesday 26 July from 09:30 - 13:00.

If any of the people you work with or support would like to take part, or you want more information, please contact:
