    FVA lunchtime learning sessions are aimed at raising the skills and capacities of local service providers interested in improving or enhancing their provision in Fife.

    Skills Development Scotland support young people into employment and bright career opportunities by arranging paid work placement through a variety of apprenticeship models.

    At this session, Carrie Stewart, Careers Advisor at Skills Development Scotland will help us understand:

    • How foundation apprenticeships prepare school age candidates for modern apprenticeships, college, university and other opportunities;
    • How modern apprenticeships prepare candidates for future career prospects via real life experience;
    • How modern apprenticeships can lead to graduate apprenticeships and;
    • What graduate apprenticeships are, how they relate to modern and foundation apprenticeships, and their benefits.
