Contract: Fixed Term until 31/03/2023
Scottish Refugee Council is looking for advisors to work with and support new families settling in Dundee through the Ukrainian schemes. You will be welcoming individuals and families displaced individuals and families to develop their own person-centred Integration action plans and pathways to achieve their aspirations.
In this role, you will be a vital member of the team working directly with people on a one-to-one. You will provide support, information, and guidance to help individuals to make informed choices, access their rights, and understand their responsibilities.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is committed to supporting people to achieve their own goals, has experience of working with people whose first language is not English, as well as having knowledge of the systems. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with an ability to work in a high-pressure situation in a rapidly changing environment. In addition, you will have to be able to work on your own initiative, have excellent organisational skills and be a confident user of IT systems.
