Salary: £24,700 per annum with 7.5% employer pension and health cover
Location: Based within the head office in Crosshill however occasional visits to other sites across central Fife are necessary.
Contract: 12 months (with option to extend subject to funding)
BRAG Enterprises seeks to recruit a Supervisor to join its team and support the Coalfields Worx project. The role involves being responsible for leading and managing the workload of a group of young adults and provide ongoing mentoring support and training to this group as they work under your supervision to deliver community focused improvements across the Cowdenbeath area. The focus of the activity will be a range of environmental maintenance tasks like gardening and ground works coupled with skills and qualification development for them where you will be supported by our employability team. You will also be responsible for environmental maintenance at the BRAG site
You will be required to utilise a crew cab vehicle so a suitable full driving licence that you have held for at least 2 years is an essential requirement.
You will ideally have a qualification in a relevant discipline like gardening or groundwork along with relevant experience and knowledge. More importantly you will possess good core and basic skills and be able to act as a role model for those around you or under your care. As most of your work will be outside and manual you will need to demonstrate an ability to work in all weathers and be fit enough to carry out the tasks that the post then requires.
