It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.Beginning in the summer of 2022, people in Scotland who receive Personal Independence Payment from the Department for Work and Pensions will have their award transferred to Social Security Scotland.
In advance of this, Social Security Scotland is hosting a series of online events which will provide stakeholders with information.
These events will provide information on Social Security Scotland’s case transfer process including:
- an introduction to case transfer
- the timeline for transfers
- the process and the client journey
- how staff will communicate with clients throughout this journey.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask the team's subject matter experts questions during this event.
Who these events are forThese events are for stakeholders who support individuals who are living with a disability, long term health condition or terminal illness who are currently in receipt of Personal Independence Payment from the Department for Work and Pensions.

Please note this series of events is specifically for the transfer process from Personal Independence Payment to Adult Disability Payment. The team will be hosting a separate series of events to provide information about clients transferring from Working Age Disability Living Allowance to Adult Disability Payment later this year.
