Mental Health Awareness Week - pre-launch information session

News/Events Category: General NewsFife Health Promotion Service will coordinate Mental Health Awareness Week from 09 - 15 May 2022.
A pre-launch Information Session will be held on the 19 April 2022 at 9:00, which will provide an opportunity to for interested parties to come along and find out how workers can get involved in campaign activities.
The national campaign is run annually by Mental Health Foundation and Fife's local campaign will also represent this year's theme of Loneliness whilst additionally, identifying opportunities to reconnect and reduce loneliness.
Loneliness affects millions of people in the UK every year and has a huge impact on our mental and physical health. Mental Health Foundation research has found that loneliness had been exacerbated by the COVID pandemic - contributing to higher levels of distress.

The Information Session is due to run for 30mins approx.
