This event is being organised by TSI Network
This particular event is free to attend, so no payment is required.

It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

Scotland's TSI Network is offering free training on basic cyber security to Third Sector organisations.

Attendees at this short session will receive an introduction/refresher on:

    • What a cyber attack is
    • Why Third Sector organisations might be targeted
    • How to create a strong password - and how to keep it secure
    • Spotting phishing attempts
    • Keeping your devices secure
    • How to properly report incidents

    Who should attend?

This session is designed to be a basic introduction to the concepts introduced and is recommended for those who:

    • work in the Third Sector
    • use a computer or phone as part of their role, and
    • are unconfident about or afraid of using technology.

Attendees may wish to build on the knowledge gained by attending one of our intermediate-level cyber resilience sessions, with dates to be added later in the year.

The session will be delivered by Michael Nicholson, Business Analyst at Fife Voluntary Action.
