    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

The Scottish Counci for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO), in partnership with Fife Council, is offering funding for 30 jobs and paid placements for organisations in Fife.

This funding can support unemployed young people aged 16 to 24 years or aged 25 plus who are 12+ months unemployed into work.  All jobs must start by 31 March 2021.  SCVO are keen for the new funded vacancies available to be diverse and provide a range across a variety of job occupational sectors.

New positions should be for 25 hours per week minimum, however, part time positions of 16 hours a week will be considered.

Opportunities will be for 6 months paid at least National Minimum Wage and employers are also encouraged to promote the National Living Wage.

SCVO will also promote Modern Apprenticeships to employers and aim to have 20% of the young people progress to an MA..

SCVO will work with Voluntary Organisations and Charities to identify eligible job candidates and a referral form will need to be submitted.
