  • Alternative pathways into primary care (survey)

    Created: 21/01/2022
    News/Events Category: General News

The Scottish Parliament's Health, Social Care and Sport Committee is undertaking an inquiry about the different ways patients access healthcare services in Scotland.

The Committee has launched an inquiry on Alternative pathways into Primary Care and is keen to hear from as many people as possible about their knowledge of and experience of using these alternative pathways. This means things like seeing a different health practitioner like a physiotherapist or a podiatrist rather than visiting a GP. It may also relate to “social prescribing” and the use of community based support.

The survey is open until 17 February 2022 and can be accessed by clicking this link.
