Scottish Sport Futures (SSF) is an organisation that uses the power of sport and physical activity to engage disadvantaged young people.
It currently has a programme running called Active:2:Grow which is in partnership with SAMH. It is a physical activity and sport programme for young people aged 11-14 and takes place 17:00 - 19:00, every Tuesday at Lochgelly High School, Station Rd, Lochgelly KY5 8LZ.

    The programme focusses on:

    • Building trust & positive relationships.
    • Building capacity & resilience.
    • Developing skills & talents.
    • Providing tools & resources.

The programme uses sport and physical activity as part of a wider tool kit to support mental health and wellbeing. Young people can expect to come to sessions and play games, learn different sports, and get active as well as gain a toolkit to support their own mental health.
The programme is completely free, food and drink are provided during break time. The group can provide support with transport if needed.

It is a referral-based programme, and the group is currently accepting new referrals - so if you know of any young people aged 11-14 that would benefit from the Active:2:Grow programme, please access this referral form.
