Community and Dementia: Creating Better Lives learning event
Created: 16/11/2021, Updated: 17/11/2021The Life Changes Trust is hosting this year's 'Community and Dementia: Creating Better Lives’ learning event.
The Trust has come to the end of three years of work with people living with dementia, unpaid carers of people with dementia, communities and stakeholders from the independent and statutory sectors in all fourteen health board areas to learn about what is needed to create better lives and influence dementia policy and practice at a local level.
You are now invited to a final webinar bringing together a summary of the learning from across Scotland, which will be chaired by Dr Kainde Manji, Project Manager of ‘About Dementia’ (which is hosted by Age Scotland and is one of our national legacy partners)
Join the event to hear presentations on:
Applied storytelling as a tool to understand what really matters to people affected by dementia and those who care for and work with people with dementia.
What has been learned about putting on this ambitious programme of events and influencing .
An evaluation of the regional small grants programme .
What care means to people with lived experience of dementia .
