    Specialist charity insurer Ecclesiastical annual online Christmas competition offers 120 charities a gift of £1,000. The public, via the organisation's website, nominate a charity they would like to see receive the money from its 12 days of Giving competition 06 to 21 December 2020. Competition winners will then be drawn at random.

    It has supported a range of causes, from funding heat pads to keep hedgehogs warm to helping a telephone befriending service for isolated carers.

    Who can apply?

    Any charity or non-for-profit organisation registered with the Charity Commission in the UK or in the Republic of Ireland.

    How to apply?

    Apply online. The more nominations a charity receives the greater the chance of them winning,10 winners at random each weekday and nominations will remain open until midnight the day before each draw.
