Useful qualifications: Previous experience of working within a support and care background and with disabled people with particular experience in dementia is desirable. Experience of manual handling desirable and advantageous.

SDS Options Fife is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant on behalf of its client.
About the client: This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) A full clean driving licence.
The client is an 89-year-old woman who has Alzheimers. She is looking for a Personal Assistant with an outgoing, positive and friendly personality, with a great sense of humour to provide support with all aspects of personal care.
You will be required to assist our live-in carer with personal care in the mornings, lunch and evenings.
I am very family orientated, enjoy reminiscing about the past and have a good sense of humour. Flexibility is required. Confidentiality and respect for my privacy and daily routine is of importance to me.
An awareness of Alzheimers is desirable. Experience of manual handling desirable and advantageous. Applicants are advised that this role will be carried out in a non-smoking environment.
Applicants must have a kind and caring attitude, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. As the duties require flexibility the applicant should be local to St Andrews and the surrounding area.
