  • Evidence journeys: Working towards culture change among planners, commissioners, and funders

    CHEX (Community Health Exchange) has produced a new briefing - Evidence journeys: Working towards culture change among planners, commissioners, and funders - which seeks to address how statutory organisations and funders can make better use of evidence, information, and experience from communities, community organisations and other third sector organisations.

    The briefing highlights three areas in particular:

    • learning from the trust investing in community and third sector organisations;
    • identifying how these organisations contribute to tackling health inequalities; and, crucially,
    • ensuring decisions and services are informed by the ‘practical wisdom’ of people in communities and those working with them.
