Arden House Projects is a small charity based in Leven that provides a range of services for older people living independently in the community who are at risk of social isolation due to complex health needs. It is looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to fulfil the role of Driver for its day-care and befriending service..
The successful applicant will be primarily involved in the transportation of older people between their home address and the Day Care Centre. Accordingly, they must have a D1 entitlement on their driving licence and be capable of driving a large minibus. They should also have a clear understanding of the support needs of older people including those living with dementia and be able to work effectively as part of our small staff and volunteer team to provide the best possible service.
