Hours: You will be expected to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, but also have the flexibility to work hours in addition to this where required.
Salary: £23,660.00 pro rata
Location: Kirkcaldy
The Cottage Family Centre offers support to vulnerable families with children aged between Birth – 16 years living in the Kirkcaldy and surrounding areas. Its Children’s Service provides high levels of care and support for children aged 0-8 years and their families through a variety of playroom and home-based support.
The Centre requires a highly motivated person with a deep understanding of children’s learning and development as well as the challenges facing our families across our communities.
The individual must have the ability to lead and support a small staff team within a childcare setting and report to the Team Manager. The worker will be responsible for supporting the Team Manager to develop a broad range of learning activities that are specific to the needs of vulnerable children.
Qualifications required are: A practice qualification - SVQ 4 Children and YOUNG People or equivalent, PDA Level 8 Childhood Practice.
A certificate in Food Handling and First Aid are also desirable.
