  • Spirit of 2012 Inclusive Volunteering: Test and Learn fund

    Created: 22/09/2021
    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

Spirit of 2012's Inclusive Volunteering: Test and Learn fund is now open for applications. Delivery organisations who wish to pilot more inclusive approaches to volunteering using a practical, test and learn approach are encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant will develop and test best practices in supporting disabled people to volunteer as equals alongside non-disabled people, and use the learning to build on the current evidence base, including the research currently being undertaken by the two previous Spirit grants on inclusive volunteering.

Spirit will organise for the successful applicant to meet the researchers from the Evidence into Practice phase in order to hear first-hand the findings from their research and identify how their test and learn project may evolve as a result of this.

    Who can apply?

The organisation is particularly interested to receive applications for projects delivered in partnership between disabled and non-disabled people-led organisations.

    When to apply?

Applications close at 09:00 on 22 October 2021.

    How to apply?

This is a two-stage application process. Stage one is to submit an expression of interest via the form on the funder's website.
