Why Walking Infrastructure is a Priority for Healthy Ageing and Prosperity in Scotland
Created: 25/08/2021Is walking important for older people in Scotland? Is walking infrastructure important for older people in Scotland? What potential role could walking play as we ease out of the COVID-19 pandemic, only to be faced anew with the climate challenge and the realities of an ageing population?
Living Streets Scotland invites you to a webinar to showcase the launch of its 'Our Streets Too: Why Walking Infrastructure is a Priority for Healthy Ageing and Prosperity in Scotland' report.
This new study examines the role of walking infrastructure in healthy ageing, transport and climate action in Scotland.
The webinar, which will take place from 10:30 - 12:00 on Wednesday 15 September 2021, will review key findings from the study with recommended action pathways. In an interactive format, its team will seek input from participants how best to deliver this in a way that is meaningful for older people of today, and future-proofs for younger people today who are the older people of the future.
