  • SCVO announces the rollout of Phase 11 of the Community Jobs Scotland programme

    Created: 07/07/2021
    News/Events Category: General News

Community Jobs Scotland (CJS) is a funded employability programme delivered by SCVO which works with voluntary sector employers to create job opportunities for unemployed people aged 16 to 29. The programme has a focus on those most disadvantaged in the labour market – those who are care experienced or are carers themselves, early Armed Forces service leavers, those with criminal convictions and those who have disabilities or other health issues – and has already created jobs for 9,500 young people across the country.

All opportunities will be with third sector organisations, additional to existing jobs within the employer organisation, and each job will deliver community benefit. CJS is now pleased to announce the roll out of Phase 11 and is looking for new employers to register an interest.

If you are an existing employer and have not been in contact, please log in and create the opportunities you would like to offer through CJS.

CJS is keen to receive registration of interest from more Fife employers as it hopes to create at least 33 posts in Fife before 30 September 2021. At present, CJS has 19 vacancies approved by 10 employers in Fife. All are at various stages with recruitment. You can e-mail [email protected] for more information on CJS.
