Citizens Advice and Right Fife (CARF) is an independent and innovative advice organisation providing holistic advice and support to local people. Its service continues to grow and expand, and it is now excited to recruit an Income Maximisation Worker, dedicated to NHS employees, to join its busy service delivery team.
The successful applicant will deliver an income maximisation service to NHS employees in various health settings across Fife. This service will include assessing welfare benefit entitlement, budgeting assistance, and information on banking services and affordable credit. The service will also actively refer both internally and externally where further issues are identified e.g. debt issues.
You will have a good standard of education, high quality personal skills and the desire to improve lives. Ideally, you will have experience of working in an advice giving capacity and/or a knowledge or interest in the social security system, although this is not essential.
You will be able to communicate complex information in a manner easily understood, whilst always mindful of the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice Bureau and CARF. Committed and results-driven, the successful candidate will be able to work independently as well as supporting the Financial Inclusion Team to deliver CARF’s vision and values.
Please download the application pack from CARF's website, or for an informal discussion, contact Audrey Cunningham on 01592 765 425 or on [email protected]
CARF is committed to Equal Opportunities and applications are welcome from all communities.
