    Salary: 30,592 - 33,919 per annum

    Hours: 36 hours per week

    Location: Perth/Glenrothes

    Contract: Temporary - 1 Year Contract

    Kingdom Housing Association provides housing and support throughout East Central Scotland. Kingdom's Asset Management department consists of technical, maintenance, and estate management services, plus a large team of trade operatives.

    Kingdom Housing Association provides technical & maintenance support services to Fairfield Housing Association, the post will mainly be based at offices in Perth.

    About the Role:

    • You will provide assistance with the running of Fairfield HA's planned major repairs and improvement programmes, including inspecting work, properties and external areas and carrying out some energy assessments, where qualified.
    • You will also assist with day-to-day repairs work where required.
    • You will be required to obtain quotes for smaller repair work, and monitor quality and performance on-site for larger replacement contracts that have been procured centrally, supported by Kingdom's Technical team, to ensure the work is carried out satisfactorily.
    • You will assist the existing Fairfield maintenance officer with the various maintenance related tasks as required.

    About You:

    • You will have a HNC in Surveying or a similar field, having a level 3 certificate in domestic Energy assessment would also be desirable.
    • You will have experience of dealing with inspections relating to building defects, planned and cyclical works is essential.
    • You should also have experience dealing directly with customers and providing excellent service.
    • You must be a confident communicator, have good organisational skills with the ability to plan and organise your workload whilst working to tight deadlines and be an effective team contributor who is adaptable and keen to learn new skills.
    • A driving licence is essential for this post along with access to your own transport.
    • You will be required to complete a satisfactory Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland check.
