  • The Scotch Whisky Action Fund - Tackling alcohol-related harm

    Created: 21/06/2021
    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

Funding is available for projects set up to tackle alcohol-related harm and reduce the negative impact.

The Scotch Whisky Action Fund (SWAF), managed by Foundation Scotland, invites new applications for funding before the deadline at noon on 28 June 2021.

The SWAF supports and develops projects that deliver targeted interventions to tackle harm among young people, families and communities impacted by excessive consumption of alcohol. The SWAF invests in projects from charities and other organisations that help reduce the impact of alcohol-related harm in Scotland’s communities. The fund encourages applications from innovative and pilot initiatives that aim to test new approaches to combatting alcohol misuse in Scotland.

The SWAF will not fund treatment, support or recovery programmes or cover any pre-existing costs that your organisation incurs as a result of your day-to-day activities.

Please visit Foundation Scotland's website for details on how to apply for this fund.
