News/Events Category: General NewsFife Health Promotion is leading on SeeMe’s virtual Pass the Badge campaign, which encourages us all to wear a digital badge for a day through social media channels, talk more openly about mental health, and pass the badge on to others to wear too.
Fife Health Promotion colleagues will take to social media feeds (@FifeHpservice @hwlfife FHSCP Facebook) to launch it #FifePassTheBadge campaign on 07 June 2021.
Ways to join in on the campaign yourself:
- Find a photo that means something to you and upload it to Pass the Badge webpage - which puts a digital badge on it. It doesn’t have to be a photo of you – it can be your favourite place or your pet...
- Share your photo on social media on 07 June with a story about why you think it’s important to “Start Talking” about mental health, using #FifePassTheBadge
- Tag a couple of friends, family or colleagues and ask how their mental health is and get them to share their own badge picture.
- Or even better tag your local celebrities, elected members or anyone with a large social media presence. Sometimes it’s not what you know but, who you know.
- Do only what makes you feel comfortable but please, join us in becoming #FifePassTheBadge influencers. You never know who we might reach...
NOTE: If you don’t want to upload a photo you can still tweet or post using the hashtag #FifePassTheBadge.
