    Created: 18/05/2021
    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

Inspire 2022 will provide grant funding to support youth-led activity across the UK, inspired by high-profile cultural and sporting events (and national moments) taking place in 2022. These will include the Rugby League World Cup, Coventry UK City of Culture, The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, the Women’s Euros, Festival UK 2022 and the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

It will support young people aged 11-25 across the UK to become agents of change in their communities. The programme will provide groups of young people with access to funding of up to £5,000 and offer practical support to enable young people to consult with their communities, then to design and deliver their own community-based events.

Inspire 2022 is looking for a delivery partner, or partnership, that can demonstrate the capability and capacity to:

    • Reach young people across the UK
    • Support young people through training, development and upskilling
    • Distribute, and manage, grant funding to groups of young people.
