Pink Saltire in partnership with YoungStart is running a set of 6 masterclasses, each covering an aspect of filmmaking.
This free event is open to all LGBT people aged 13-25. Each class will cover different aspects of filmmaking - from roles on set, directing, and the practical elements. Over the 6 sessions, you will work with others to produce a short film - all you need is a device, such as a phone or laptop!
The 6 week programme:
Introduction to storytelling and storyboarding
Introduction to filmmaking kit
Introduction to editing
Preparing for a shoot
Understanding the roles on set
Introduction to sound recording
Shooting on a mobile device
Directing actors and scenes
Pink Saltire can also support you to practice filmmaking with a loan of specialised equipment, including hand-held rigs, LED lighting, microphones, tripods and lots more - all you need to bring is your device!
