    Created: 12/05/2021
    News/Events Category: General News

Samaritans is now recruiting members for its new Lived Experience Panel. The panel aims to recruit people with lived experience of suicidal feelings, suicide attempts, self-harm and those bereaved by suicide. Members of the panel will play an integral role in the organisation, helping to influence and shape the future of Samaritans’ policy work, campaigns and services.

Samaritans is also seeking applicants for its new Insights Panel, which is open to anyone who wants to sign up. Members of the insights panel will submit their views on new products and initiatives to help Samaritans raise the vital funds needed to support its service and help more people that are struggling to cope.

Participation in both panels is completely voluntary and members will be able to respond only to requests that reflects their interests or experience.

The panel's homepage is now live and people are able to sign up. The page also includes some more info and FAQs about the panels.
