    Post: Communications and Engagement Officer
    Hours: 21 hours per week
    Contract: fixed term to 31st March 2022 initially with possibility of extension

    Are you an experienced professional with a passion for delivering renewal and regeneration? Love Oor Lang Toun is looking for a Communications and Engagement Officer to join their small staff team to join our small staff team to help communicate the projects and work that make up our ambitious three-year strategy and business plan. In this role, we want you to engage and involve the community, work closely with public, private and voluntary sector partners and have a drive and ambition to develop and deliver a communications strategy. 

    Love Oor Lang Toun is a community-led regeneration group that launched in April 2020. The organisation is a social enterprise constituted as a Community Interest Company (CIC). Their mission is to contribute to the renewal and regeneration of Kirkcaldy town centre, creating a 21st century town centre that local people will be proud of. Their work is guided by local businesses and by engagement with the wider Kirkcaldy community and they have recently developed an ambitious strategy for the next three years -  Love Oor Lang Toun Plan.

    If you have a strong track record in regeneration, economic development or a related field, extensive project management experience, and experience of developing successful funding applications or business plans, they would like to hear from you.
