Click and Connect by Scottish Autism is an extension of the successful Winter Connections project. The project allows the autistic community and their families in Scotland to stay connected through the pandemic and beyond.
The Click and Connect groups aim to reduce feelings of loneliness & isolation by providing an opportunity to connect with others online. Registration is taken for each session independently, make sure you register for each session of the groups you want to join before they fill up! The groups take place weekly.
The Virtual Choir Group is for autistic people and their families in Scotland, and all ages and abilities welcome! Share music with others in a fun, no pressure environment. People listen to music for many different reasons, it can help you connect to your emotions as well as other people. Music is the one universal thing that connects us all around the world. The goal of the group is to help you feel less isolated, enhance your wellbeing and develop your confidence.
You will learn a range of songs over the sessions. The songs will be chosen by the group and you will be able to submit favourite songs or a song that means something to you when you register for the event.
