Created: 27/04/2021Click and Connect by Scottish Autism is an extension of the successful Winter Connections project. The project allows the autistic community and their families in Scotland to stay connected through the pandemic and beyond.
The Click and Connect groups aim to reduce feelings of loneliness & isolation by providing an opportunity to connect with others online. Registration is taken for each session independently, make sure you register for each session of the groups you want to join before they fill up! The groups take place weekly.
Current groups:
The Mindful Autism Support Group for autistic individuals and family members of autistic people (18+). Run by Jonny Drury, the group will take place every Thursday afternoon until 08 July (excluding 3rd June). Each session will run via Zoom and are free to join. These are a series of group sessions where you build your own community for the duration of the block. SA encourage you to join all sessions or as many sessions in the block as you can.
This is a guided support and dialogue group that uses guided mindfulness meditation and group conversation as a basis for stress recovery and improving relaxation and wellbeing. Using a set of easy-to-learn practices, you will create our own safe space and a community where participants are welcome to share and listen to each other’s thinking, stories and experiences.
Register for Mindful Autism Support Group on Thursday 06 May 2021, 13:00 - 14:30.
