Support Workers in the Fife Support Services are responsible for delivering a visiting care at home and/or housing support service to enable people to live as independently as possible in their own homes (including the provision of personal care and administering medication, where required, and help to enable people to develop practical household skills). The post holder/s will provide emotional support, to assist people to take part in activities that matter to them and help them engage with their community to reduce social isolation.
This post is subject to Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme registration
Essential that you have an SVQ 3 Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF Level 6 or able to achieve qualification within required timescales
