    For all those affected by cancer, learning how to deal with the many challenges a cancer diagnosis can bring is incredibly important. Stress can increase feelings of anxiety, fear, anger, sadness and frustration. That’s why it’s important to acknowledge stress and take positive steps to reduce it where possible.

    Cancer Support are delivering free Stress Management courses, delivered in a group setting, have been created to teach you helpful techniques for reducing the anxiety and stress levels you are likely to experience following a diagnosis. Each course is spread over 5 weeks, the wellbeing facilitators will help you learn how to:

    • Manage panic attacks
    • Promote your overall wellbeing
    • Develop and maintain a positive mindset
    • Follow a healthy lifestyle for body and mind
    • Use laughter therapy to bring out a smile

    Everything learned on the course can also be used to manage stress throughout daily personal life and in the workplace.

    Courses currently are open to anyone who has personally received a cancer diagnosis at any stage in their lives or their carers.

    • Saturday 29 May 2021 running weekly until Saturday 26 June 2021
