Community Engagement in the Levenmouth area
Created: 12/04/2021The Coalfields Regeneration Trust are working in collaboration with Sustrans to carry out a community engagement consultation in the Levenmouth area.
The Connectivity Project (which sits in the Leven Programme) aims to create an attractive and safe active travel network through the communities of Levenmouth and along the River Leven. We have completed our concept designs and are now looking for feedback so we can incorporate any appropriate changes before moving onto the developed design phase.
The Leven Programme is a regeneration initiative with the environment and people at its heart. It involves many key government agencies, non-government organisations, private sector and local communities working closely together to help deliver environmental improvements in and around the River Leven in Fife, while maximising the social and economic opportunities that these improvements can bring. Find out more about the Leven Programme.
Sustrans have prepared a consultation which can provide you and those in the communities with more information on the concept, in a simple and interactive format, and the opportunity to provide feedback.
Alternatively, for those unable or less comfortable engaging online or who would like more information, there is also a freephone hotline (0800 953 0535). Callers can leave their feedback in a voicemail or leave their details to request a hard copy of the materials or a call back from a member of the project team.
The closing date for feedback is Sunday 25 April 2021.
