News/Events Category: General NewsSalvesen Mindroom Centre is a charity that, for twenty-one years, has worked Scotland Wide to ‘support, inform and empower’ the families of children and young people who have learning difficulties.
- advice, information and support for parents and carers of children and young people who have learning difficulties;
- advocacy and transition support for children and young people;
- low-cost training for professionals (Train the Trainer);
- lots of free resources (available on our website) for families and professionals who support a child or young person who has a learning difficulty; and
- collaborative working with professionals from education, relevant voluntary sector organisations, as well as health and social care to ensure the best outcomes for the children and young people that it supports.
