NHS Fife announces appointment of Director of Public Health

News/Events Category: General NewsNHS Fife has recently announced the appointment of Dr Joy Tomlinson as Fife's new Director of Public Health.
Joy has more than 28 years' experience in clinical and Public Health work within the NHS in Scotland. She began her career in Public Health following completion of training in general practice and has worked as a consultant in Public Health since 2009.
Joy will join NHS Fife in June from NHS Ayrshire and Arran, where she is currently Interim Director of Public Health (Joint).
The role of Director of Public Health at NHS Fife is currently held by Dona Milne who will be leaving at the end of May to take up the position of Director of Public Health and Health Policy with NHS Lothian.
