  • Device Refurbishment Support Fund

    Created: 02/03/2021
    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

SCVO's Device Refurbishment Support Fund seeks to increase the number of free devices available by building the capacity of voluntary and community sector organisations that have an established programme of collecting, refurbishing and distributing pre-loved devices. The fund will support three key areas of activity:

    • Promotion of the potential of refurbishing devices above and beyond the work normally carried out.
    • Refurbishing additional devices so that they are safe and ready for a new owner to use.
    • Ensuring safe distribution of additional devices to those who are unable to afford a device.

    Who can apply?

SCVO is particularly interested in supporting groups (third sector organisations) that have a good track record of working with their local community, and that have been able to develop new service delivery plans in light of the challenges posed by COVID-19 restrictions.

Find out how to apply here. The closing date for this fund is Thursday 22 April 2021.
