Saje Scotland - The Freedom Programme (now open for referrals)
When: To be confirmed, Monday 19 April 2021 Where: Zoom call, online This event is being organised by Saje Scotland This particular event is free to attend, so no payment is required.
It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.
Saje Scotland is now taking referrals for the next round of its Freedom Programme course, which will start the week commencing 19 April 2021.
The 10 week programme is for any woman interested in learning more about the effects of domestic abuse and, in particular, for women who experience or have experienced domestic abuse.
Where and When:
Courses are taking place online via Zoom: a video conferencing platform. Each group meeting is on for between 1-2 hrs a week. They will discuss with participants which works best for them upon referral.
Participants will need an internet connection, plus a smartphone, tablet, or a computer to use Zoom. Help can be provided to get Zoom set up.
Note: an online group would not be safe for someone who is in isolation with their abuser.
There is no formal assessment process. Upon application, Saje Scotland will contact each woman for an informal chat to ensure the group is right for them.
