    News/Events Category: Training and Learning

    When: 19:00 – 20:15, Tuesday 23 February 2021
Where: This is an online Event
This event is being organised by Greener Kirkcaldy
This particular event is free to attend, so no payment is required.

It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

Greener Kirkcaldy welcome Markus Stitz, founder of Bikepacking Scotland, to this online event to celebrate the joys of exploring Scotland on two wheels. The goal is that hearing about his adventures will inspire you to dig out your tent, tune-up your bike and commit to a Bikepacking adventure this summer, rather than jumping on a plane.

Bikepacking offers a sustainable opportunity to discover the past by enjoying the present. Bikepacking Scotland founder and round the world singlespeed cyclist Markus Stitz talks about how the history of countries has inspired him to develop new bikepacking routes in Highland Perthshire, Argyll and most recently, the Cateran Ecomuseum. You will also have the opportunity to ask Markus about his adventures and get some top tips on bikepacking.
