The ALLIANCE - Self Management Fund
Created: 27/10/2020The Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland has announced that the Self Management Fund: Resilience, Recovery and Development fund is now open for applications.
This Scottish Government funded programme was set up to support development of co-produced, person centred, self management activity across Scotland. Learning from people’s lived experience of living with long term conditions, and their unpaid carers, is at the heart of what the fund is designed to achieve. This round of the fund will build on the Resilience, Recovery and Development demonstrated by the third sector throughout 2020 and create an opportunity to plan for the future.
Who can apply?
Lead applicants and grant holders must be a third sector or community organisation. Public sector organisations such as the NHS or local authorities are welcomed as partners on projects, but cannot hold the grant or benefit financially.
The Fund will consider all reasonable activities and resources required to make each project a success, but are unable to support the purchase of capital items such as buildings, vehicles, refurbishment and equipment. The Fund is not able to support projects which are solely for the running costs of an organisation or an existing project.
Application form and full guidance available here.
Applications close at 09:00 on 18 January 2021.
