    News/Events Category: General News

Living Wage Week will take place on 09 - 15 November 2020, and FVA is delighted to celebrate its sixth year as an accredited real Living Wage employer.

There are 81 accredited Living Wage employers across Fife. As a member of the ‘Making Glenrothes a Living Wage town’ Action Group, we encourage other employers in the area to join us and become a Living Wage employer.

This year's campaign focuses on thanking all of our key workers - including care workers, NHS staff, delivery drivers, supermarket assistants and many more - for their fantastic efforts that continue to keep us and our loved ones safe.

During the campaign, check out our Twitter and Facebook pages for a variety of Living Wage Week content.

Living Wage Scotland is running a series of online events and webinars to inform employers and employees on how to maximise the benefits of the real Living Wage across different sectors and industries.

    *New rate announcement*

On 09 November 2020, Living Wage Scotland announced that the real Living Wage will increase to £9.50 in Scotland. Approximately 45,600 workers in Scotland are set to benefit from this increase.
