News/Events Category: Funding and FinanceThe Robertson Trust's Community Building Grants aims to provide capital funding for a building to support the work of charities with an annual income of between £25,000 and £2 million.
The Community Building Grants is one of the Trust's five funding offers for registered charities who work to address poverty and trauma in Scotland.
The Grant will only fund charities whose building is managed and used in a way which meets our definition of a community hub, i.e a building (or part of a building) that is multi-purpose and open or accessible to local people. It should provide or host a range of activities and services that the local community needs, and is used by lots of different people.
Who can apply?
The Trust provides funding for organisations and initiatives that address:
- Financial wellbeing: tackling the financial and material effects of poverty on people and communities
- Emotional wellbeing and relationships: ensuring people have emotional wellbeing, and confidence and strength in their relationships with others
- Educational and work pathways: equipping people for the future by supporting learning and skills.
