    The National Lottery Community Fund Improving Life grants will fund activity that:

    • supports children, young people and families currently experiencing challenging circumstances;
    • supports people that have experienced abuse;
    • tackles loss, isolation and loneliness; and
    • challenges discrimination and supports people affected by it.

    It will also consider activity which aims to prevent as well as respond to these issues.

    Important dates

    From 01 October 2020 the maximum available Improving Lives grant will be £200K over one to three years. It will be a single stage application.
    The Fund will only accept applications for more than £200k or more than 3 years until 12:00 on Wednesday 30 September 2020.

    Who can apply?

    Most organisations are eligible to apply. The National Lottery is keen to see applications from smaller organisations that it hasn't funded before. Further eligibility criteria can be found here. Applications can be completed here.
