    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

    The National Lottery Community Fund is offering a Young Start grant to help children and young people across Scotland become more confident, so they can realise their own potential. It wants to fund work that achieves at least one of the following three outcomes:

    • children and young people have better physical, mental and emotional wellbeing;
    • children and young people have better connections with the wider community; and
    • children and young people get access to new skills and training opportunities which will help them to get a new job or start a business.

    Who can apply?

    Voluntary or community organisations, registered charities, constituted groups, schools and public sector organisations can apply for this fund. Funding will remain open to all applications, but over the next six months the National Lottery will prioritise applications that are COVID-19 related. Applications can be completed here.
