  • The Health Foundation - COVID-19 research programme

    Created: 03/08/2020
    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

The Health Foundation has launched a new research programme, which seeks to understand the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in two distinct areas. They are prioritising funding for UK-focused projects that explore:

    • how health and social care service delivery has changed in light of COVID-19; and
    • the impact of COVID-19 on health inequalities and the wider determinants of health.

They will fund highly applied research that has direct relevance to policy and practice and welcome applications from multidisciplinary teams combining expertise from a broad range of disciplines.

    Who can apply?

Any UK organisation that can demonstrate the necessary skills and experience to carry out high quality research within the remit of the programme can submit an application. This includes non-universities, such as research charities. This programme is open for applications until 30 September 2020. Guidance on how to apply for this fund can be found on The Health Foundation website.
