    Post: Family Support Worker

    Hours: 16 per week

    Salary: £11.12 per hour

    The Cottage Family Centre are looking for an experienced practitioner to work within the Family Support section of the services delivered by the Cottage. You will have at least two years experience of supporting families within a social care/ community setting. You should hold a minimum qualification of SVQ 3 Services Children and Young People or HNC/D in Social Care or Working with Communities, or equivalent, and have a positive and flexible approach and an understanding of social issues that affect individuals and families.

    You will need to be self-motivated, have a flexible approach, a good team worker and have the ability to work independently. You will be expected to be competent in working with Microsoft based software.

    This post will be subject to a PVG and references.
