Update from the No One Left Behind Design and Measurement Team
Created: 04/05/2020In response to the challenges being faced across society and the economy during the Covid-19 pandemic, the No One Left Behind Design and Measurement Team have set up a cross-sector Operational Group to ensure coherent and co-ordinated action across Employability in Scotland. The Terms of Reference for this group, and minutes for past meetings, will be published on the Employability in Scotland website. You can find the minutes from their first two meetings here.
They also wanted to take this opportunity to reiterate the continuing commitment to the principles of No One Left Behind. They have recently issued a Joint Communique from the Minister for Business, Fair Work and Skills and the COSLA spokesperson for Communities and Wellbeing which provides greater detail.
In light of this commitment, work is continuing where possible around key deliverables of the No One Left Behind shared action plan.
The Shared Measurement Framework is continuing to be developed, and they will be getting in touch with organisations to help define indicators over the next two months. They may adjust this timeline if COVID priorities limit capacity to engage with the work.
In terms of Service Design, they are engaging with colleagues in Social Security Scotland to learn from the process they went through in developing their customer charter, and are reviewing the user insights they have collected to understand where further user engagement and research is needed. Their next steps are to explore how they can move forward with this work during the period that physical distancing measures are in place.
