    Post: Dads Project Worker

    Hours: 16 per week

    Salary: £11.12 per hour

    They are looking for a highly motivated and experienced practitioner to work within the Family Support section of the services delivered by the Cottage. You will have at least two years’ experience of supporting families within a social care/ community setting. 

    You should hold a minimum qualification of SVQ 3 Services Children and Young People or HNC/D in Social Care or Working with Communities, or equivalent, and have a positive and flexible approach and an understanding of social issues that affect individuals and families in need.

    As well as providing a range of support and practical advice, you will ensure that groupwork programmes which will include outdoor activities are provided to complement and enhance the individual work undertaken with male parents/ adult carers and/or their families.

    You will be required to work with minimum supervision, demonstrate an ability to work independently and overcome challenges to working with complex situations. You will be expected to be competent in working with Microsoft based software.
