    By the end of this course participants will have:

    • Explored the subtleties of period poverty and what can be done to prevent it - including best practice in the distribution of free products;
    • Learnt how to use the My Period resources to deliver high quality education training about periods in the community;
    • The confidence to demonstrate the use of reusable period products (cloth pads and menstrual cups);
    • The ability to develop skills to host conversations about periods and menstrual health with people of all ages and shared learning and best practice.

    Who should attend?

    Anyone working with young people, women and families experiencing poverty, e.g. youth workers, CLD, social work, third sector, NHS family nurses, teaching staff, etc.
